Climb For Change
Climb For Change is a unique Web site created and maintained by passionate mountain climbers who want to also support change. The members work with and support charities, such as the Power To Be Adventure Therapy Society and others, which offer programs designed to help children and youth connect with nature, and learn and grow in nature.

As the Web site leaders explain: "Climb For ChangeTM is a global go-to hub for all of us actionable climb for change leaders and our friends and supporters around the world to come together to share our stories, news and lessons-learned, and to inspire each other to take action to climb the mountains in our lives."

Guest bloggers offer fascinating insights into how climbing has changed their own lives and the lives of others. In the Life Lessons section, with blogs from such famous mountaineers as pioneer rock climber Royal Robbins and Greg Mortenson (who got lost while attempting to climb K2, stumbled into a remote village then returned to build a village school).

The site lists climbs that have a component to benefit a charity. For example, the Seven Summits for Serving Others Worldwide - Charity Climb, the 2011 Climb for Change Mexico Volcano Expedition, and the OrchidTrek Peru.

The Campfire is an open community page on the site where anyone who has joined Climb for Change can post their thoughts, news, events, stories and more.
