New Fisher Price Active Gear a Boon to Parents

New Fisher Price Active Gear a Boon to Parents

Kid Utility Vehicle

Fisher Price

The new Active Gear line by Fisher Price has some goodies that make it easier for parents to take young kids into national parks and camping. The knobby wheels on the Kid Utility Vehicle, which looks like a wagon with comfy seats for two kids, will grip the dirt on trails threading national parks and forests. Each seat, with a removable canopy, will hold a child up to about five-years-old. The rugged wagon folds flat for easy storage in a car trunk or the back of an SUV or minivan.

If you’re in the middle of toilet training a child, check out Potty On-The-Go, a portable potty with collapsible legs, and a disposable bag and absorbency pad system. It folds flat and comes in a tote bag.

This new Active Gear line also has a Family Care Pack, an adult backpack with an insulated pocket for food and drinks, a first aid kit and space for other gear, which can be attached to the Kid Utility Vehicle. Other items in the line include a kid-size Sleepover Nap Sack with an inflatable mattress, and a Stow Away Seat Pack--a portable youth-sized seat attached to a backpack.

You can see what the gear looks like on the Fisher Price website. Just put Active Gear in the search box and click. The line is being sold at Babies ‘R Us and Toys ‘R Us stores.
