Every summer, Kim Reichhelm and her coaches run week-long sessions in South America's Portillo and Valle Nevado ski resort in Chile, for advanced skiers who just want to improve their freeskiing techniques and skiers who are considering going pro in the sport. The clinics in Valle Nevado are July 26-2, 2008 (mostly heliskiing), and August 2-9, 2008 (mostly resort with optional heliskiing). The Aug. 9-16, 2008 clinic in Portillo is resort skiing, with a heli-skiing option offered daily, weather permitting. Her clinics, which take place in locales from Alaska and Crested Butte, Colorado to South America, are finely tuned experiences which include camaraderie among participants as well as a lot of learning on the slopes. This is year the clinic is August 9-23, 2008.
