Every summer, Kim Reichhelm and her coaches head down to South America to ski in Portillo, Chile. This year, she's also heading up to Alaska for a combination heli-skiing and fishing trip. During the winter, she offers many clinics at ski rsorts around the U.S.
In June, 2012, you can both heli-ski and fish during two trips to Tordrillo Mt. Lodge on Judd Lake, which is in the southern tip of the Alaska Range, about 80 miles from Anchorage. Families can head to Portillo, Chile, July 28-August 4, 2012, for a fun-filled ski week. Advanced and expert skiers can head to Portillo, Chile, August 4-11, or to Valle Nevado, Chile, August 18-25, for guided skiing on untracked powder after storms, steep technical slopes and long groomers.
Kim's clinics, which take place in locales from Alaska and Crested Butte, Colorado to South America, are finely tuned experiences which include camaraderie among participants as well as a lot of learning on the slopes. She offers a variety of clinics and ski weeks throughout the winter, including Women's Ski Adventures, Co-ed Steep Skiing Camps and spring heliski trips in Alaska.Who's Your Expert?
Kim Reichhelm is a two-time World Extreme Skiing Champion and has skied with the U.S. Ski team and on the Women's Pro Tour. You may have seen her on Late Night: with David Letterman or speaking as a commentator for ESPN, FOX or OLN.
