Ski Vail Mountain Resort

Vail’s awesome 5,289 acres of terrain stretches seven miles from the groomed slopes at Lionshead to the glades in Blue Sky Basin. A bump run through one of the infamous Back Bowls or a cruising run in China Bowl will make your day.In between, the 31 lifts (including a gondola) take you on trails up to four miles long and into bowls so vast skiers on the far side look like Lilliputians. Skiers purchasing certain multi-day passes can use them on the slopes at nearby Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. Vail has three terrain parks for different levels of freestyle skiers and snowboarders, including the mile-long Fly Zone. In addition to regular daily lessons, The Ski and Snowboard School offers Kid’s Camps, Skimmersion, Women’s Camps, Master Camps and a variety of other focused clinics.

Cross Country Skiing

Skiers will find kilometers of cross country ski trails on the local golf course. There’s also a network of trails atop nearby Beaver Creek.
