The Imperial City in the Hue Citadal, Vietnam

Vietnamese royalty lived in the Imperial City in Hue for hundreds of years. The walled Hue Citadel was the scene of key battles during the Tet Offensive in the Vietnam War. When the American soldiers took over the Citadel they reportedly found aging concubines still living in one of the buildings.
