Wintertime Heli-Skiing and Heli-Snowboarding Trips
In the winter CMH offers a variety of week-long heli-ski and heli-snowboarding weeks for advanced intermediates to expert skiers and snowboarders. Most of the trips are to remote lodges in the Bugaboos, Cariboos, Monashees, Purcells and other mountain regions in British Columbia, just on the western side of the Continental Divide.
Even strong intermediates may take the Powder Introduction packages. At the beginning of the traditional HeliSki weeks, the skiers and snowboarders are divided into groups according to skill level and comfort on backcountry terrain. In addition to these traditional HeliSki Weeks (7-day trips), CMH also offers 3-, 4-, and 5-day heli-skiing and heli-snowboarding trips at a selection of different lodges throughout the season.
Family Heli-Skiing Trips
CMH had so many requests for family trips that the company now offers several family heli-ski trips to different lodges in the winter, including during the holiday season. For a full list, visit the website. The trips are open to parents (or grandparents, aunts and uncles) and children between the ages of 12 and 17.
