Email the Guide to Adventure Travel

Like all Guides at About.com, I'm a real person who welcomes your interest in adventure travel. Each reader has a different view of adventure travel, so many sports and exotic locations are covered here. If you can't find the information you are looking for on the site, please contact me at adventuretravel.guide@about.com. Please read these FAQs first. They outline ways to move around About.com's Adventure Travel site, how to get a link to your site on this one, quoting from this site, and adding your own images or articles to this site.

F.A.Q.

Q. How to ask a specific question?
A. First, see if you can find an answer to your question on the website. Check the Essentials and Topics on the left side of the page to see if your topic is listed. Or, put a key word or two from your question into the search box at the top of one of the Adventure Travel pages. If you still can't find an answer then post a question in the Adventure Travel forum.
Q. How do I post a question on the forum?
A. The "Forums" link is near the bottom of the topics list on the left-hand side of the page. Here's a direct link to the forum sign-on page. If you don't have a forum ID it only takes a minute to create one. If I or anyone else reading the forum can answer we'll all learn something.
Q. How do I get a link to my Website on this Adventure Travel site?
A. I'm always looking for new sites that will tell my readers more about adventure travel. If you want to suggest a site I should explore, please send an email with the URL. Include an email address so I can let you know if and when I will be adding a link. I visit and review every Website that is sent to me for consideration.
If you add a link to this Website on your site please let me know.
Q. I took a photo or wrote an article that I would like to share with your readers. May I do this?
A. I encourage readers to get involved in the site. The pictures or the articles must be your own. Please contact me first, then I'll tell you whether to send it for consideration. You will, of course, get credit.
Q. How do I credit the Adventure Travel Website when quoting from it?
A. If you're referencing the entire site, include the URL. For example, "According to www.Adventure Travel.com at About.com ..." If you're citing from a specific blog, article or page use the above approach, but include the URL for the page. For example, "An article about top adventure travel companies by Lois Friedland, About.com's Adventure Travel guide, lists eight terrific choices."
Q. I'd like to reprint an article or copy an image. May I?
A. You can not reprint any articles or features, or copy an images from the Adventure Travel Website without specific permission. To apply for permission electronically complete this form and you will be contacted by a representative from About.com with further details.
