Downhill or XC Ski, Snowboard or Snowshoe Free in January

January is the annual Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, when dozens of ski areas and resorts offer free or deeply discounted lessons.  In the middle of the month, you can also try snowshoeing or cross country skiing during the annual Winter Trails Day.   Here's where to find links to all the resorts and locations across the country.
