I love the suggestions, although some of them are a little unattainable for the average family.
My mom would pack up the car and take us hiking and camping in the mountains OF Tennessee and North Carolina.
One year she won an inflatable kayak and we took it with us every time we traveled. You never know when a lake or river will become a chance to paddle!
