How Many UNSECO World Heritage Sites Have You Visited?

Do you know there are 890 UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the globe? These special places have been chosen based on cultural or natural heritage, and because they have outstanding universal value. Sixteen new sites were added just last month.

Because Italy has 44, more than any other country, About.com's guide to Italy, Martha Bakerjian, has put together a carnival travel blog listing dozens of them.
