Do Adventure Travelers Have an Extra Dose of Adrenalin?

Thursday September 18, 2008
Sarah Staples's "Vacationing on the Edge" article in Thursday's Globe and Mail dials in on the adrenalin throbbing through the veins or extreme adventurers. She's talking about the folks who will be joining extreme adventurer Nigel Gifford, skydiving later this month from the highest drop zone in the world, which just happens to be on Mount Everest. For some, it's going to be their first skydiving experience, and they'll jump in tandem, with a licensed partner. To read what Gifford and others have to say about playing on the extreme edge, read "Vacationing on the Edge" .

If you want to learn more about the Mount Everest Skydive trip and other extreme adventure trips you can join visit High & Wild. If you want to see some of the terrain this group may be soaring past you can watch through cams as sherpas climb Mount Everest.
