Dive into "Shark Week" - This Week Only

Sunday July 27, 2008
Shark sightings and bitings often make the news in the summer. Starting tomorrow, Sunday, it's "Shark Week" on the Discovery Channel. Surviving shark attacks and busting myths about sharks are just a few of the programs scheduled today through next Saturday. Even if you don't believe you'll ever see one up close, they're fascinating creatures to watch from a distance.

"Shark Week" is just one facet of the Discovery Channel's quest for extreme adventurers. You could compare yourself to Survivorman, or you could climb Mount Everest through cams on sherpas heading up the world's highest mountain.

If you'd like to dive with sharks, there are plenty of opportunities. Visit Scuba Diving and Snorkeling in Aquariums .
