Denver's Free Ski & Ride Park Opens Saturday

Friday January 18, 2008
The free ski and ride party starts this Saturday at Denver's urban Ruby Hill Rail Yard. From 10am - 1:30 pm, groups of up to 25 will be going out for free snowboard lessons and use of equipment, thanks to Burton, Never Summer and Vans (for those of you who like to know which boards you'll be riding). The Winter Park Resort Ski and Ride School will be offering the lessons and demonstrations.

The terrain park in Ruby Hill, just outside downtown Denver, features six rails of varying configuration and skill levels. Weather permitting, the park will remain open for at least a month, if not longer.

To learn more about the park, lessons for teens, contests and other activities visit Ruby Hill Rail Yard.
