When Skiing Groomed Slopes Isn't Enough What's Next?

Tuesday November 20, 2007
When groomed slopes bore you, it’s time to learn more about skiing and snowboarding on backcountry lite, pure backcountry and other rugged terrain. The North American Ski Training Center, based in Lake Tahoe, has many one- to 12-day total-immersion performance ski school clinics led by Professional Ski Instructors Association's Demonstration Team members and AMGA Ski Guides at premier mountain resorts worldwide.

Among the 25 clinics at 18 mountain resorts offered this winter are Early Season Jumpstart, Backcountry Skiing, Avalanche 1 Course, Luna Chix Women of NASTC and All-conditions/All Terrain. For details on the clinics and booking customized vacation packages that include clinics visit Ski.com.
