Visit a Working Ranch or Try A Cattle Drive

Wednesday August 16, 2006

If you like spending hours in the saddle, hands-on experiences helping ranchers with branding and herding cattle or horses, check out a horseback riding trip at one of these working cattle ranches. If visiting a working ranch doesn't provide enough horseback riding and hands-on activities, consider joining a fall cattle drive when the animals are moved from one pasture to another for the winter.
